Postec Airbox

Brief

Postec provides comprehensive forecourt and wet stock control systems for the oil industry. It engaged Procreate in late 2008 to develop an electronic enclosure suitable for installation in a forecourt back office environment. The product was to be distributed by a third party to international customers and it required a subtle, refined aesthetic to set it apart from potential competitors. The product delivery timeframe was critical to the tendering process. Thanks to Procreate, Postec was able to present, early production-representative prototypes which confirmed its ability to supply a quality solution on time.

Outcome

Postec obtained orders for an initial pilot order which Procreate was able to have manufactured and assembled for delivery within six weeks of receiving the order. Production volumes are expected to increase significantly and Procreate has identified manufacturing alternatives that will offer cost benefits at higher production volumes.
